Luis Lopes

Graduated in Physics Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico.

At the beginning of his career, he worked at Procter & Gamble and later at McKinsey & Company. With nearly 20 years of experience in the telecommunications sector, his journey began in 2004 at the former Portugal Telecom, joining the Executive Committee of PT Comunicações two years later. He later became the COO of NOS, a position he held before moving to Vodafone.

He has been part of the Vodafone Group since 2014, where, as a member of the senior leadership team, he held roles such as Director for Fixed and Convergence, Director Commercial Europe Cluster, and Director for Fibre & Partnerships at Vodafone Germany.

Since April 1, 2023, he has been the CEO of Vodafone Portugal.
