I completed my Masters in Computer Engineering at IST in 2009. While studying I had many jobs, from manual software tester to Systems Administrator - including at IST's Rede das Novas Licenciaturas.
In the Summer of 2008 I was a Google intern working on AdSense at the Googleplex, in the San Francisco Bay Area. A year later I moved to Switzerland to join Google full time, where I've remained since.
Over the past fifteen years I've had many different roles. I was a Software Engineer in Test working on Google Maps, a Software Engineer working on Google Search and the Knowledge Graph, and for the last 5 years I've been a Site Reliability Engineer working on Google Cloud and Google Workspace.
